Pen Showcase: Kuretake Disposable Pocket Brush Pen

Pen Showcase

This is a series about the pens I have! Part review, part discussion, I’ll try and highlight things I like and dislike, and then things I’ve heard from other people (probably other reviews, or the Pen Addict).

And finally I wrote some pangrams down on a new Rhodia Dot Pad I got:

Notebook Obsession: Wishlist

Notebook Obsession

I’ve been obsessed with notebooks ever since I can remember! As a result, I have many different notebooks and wanted to share my collection with fellow notebook lovers! Let me know what you think!

It seems like it’s wishlist week here on my blog! It’s not really that I’m in the mood to buy things, but I have done a ton of browsing lately, so maybe I am in the mood! I thought it would be a good idea to share my wishlists with the internet because why not! (Links are to where I would buy them, not the company website. This post is NOT sponsored! I just love these companies!)

Notebook Wishlist (June 2016)

Empty Notebooks

I love a good blank notebook. It doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated, it just has to look good (and smell good, if I’m being honest here). Points if it’s not wirebound, extra points if it’s a dot grid or graph ruling, and extra bonus points if it’s a good paper weight. Here are some of my top choices!

Prompt Notebooks

And finally a non-notebook: A Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and Touch Small Tablet! I’ve always, always wanted one, but never got the courage to just get such an expensive toy. I included it in my “Notebook Obsession” post because it’s a tech notebook! A techbook!

What notebooks do you want to try out? Do you have any suggestions that you can suggest to me?

Notebook Obsession: Currently Using

Notebook Obsession

I’ve been obsessed with notebooks ever since I can remember! As a result, I have many different notebooks and wanted to share my collection with fellow notebook lovers! Let me know what you think!

In this video, I talk about some notebooks I’m using, and how I’m using them! Most of my notebooks have a theme or a purpose to them (one of the reasons why I think I have so many).

My Everyday Carry (Stationery Edition)

After all these pen and notebook posts, I thought it would be a good idea to show you my EDC when it comes to notebooks and pens. If you don’t know what everyday carry (EDC) is, or what it means, basically it “refers to items that are carried on a consistent basis to assist in dealing with normal everyday needs“. The full description is found on the linked Wikipedia page. Usually, it includes items needed in case of emergency, but this post is just regarding my stationery supplies. They’re important!

Everyday Carry: Bullet Journal 1
So first things first, Taylor got me this amazing Marauder tote bag, and I’ve been using it for my bullet journal carry-along. It fits all the stuff on the right there, my current bullet journal, two pen cases (I’ll get into them in the next picture) and a little notebook that Sowmya gave me. You can read up on my bullet journal in my updates. The little notebook isn’t always there, but it’s mostly there if I need to pull it out to jot something down real quick. It has a lot of notes from podcasts I listen to and other random things.

Everyday Carry: Bullet Journal 2
Now for the two pen cases. The long, metal Blue Bear one is from Morning Glory. I got it years and years ago. This holds one dry highlighter from Monami, one felt tip Le Pen from Marvy, and five Frixion pens, one Frixion marker, and one Frixion eraser from Pilot. These are my bujo essentials. Each Frixion pen color represents a different category in my bullet journal, the Frixion marker and the Le Pen helps set-up the dailies, and the highlighter is to highlight the important items. The other plaid bag with the bow is from Daiso, the amazing Japanese dollar store. I love Daiso. This holds a ton of pens, including all the other Frixion pens I have, brush pens, more highlighters, etc. This is if I get bored and need to play around. I don’t need to carry this around, I just want to.

Everyday Carry: In My Purse
Now, if I don’t want to bring my bujo everywhere, I still have these items in my purse. I have the “I Love You, man” blank notebook (gift from my good friend Ash) and my ecosystem ruled notebook in case I need to jot something down real quick. Sometimes I also have Sowmya’s little notebook in my purse too. The cute striped bag with the face holds the items in the bottom picture. It has 3 pens from Daiso (I think they’re liquid ink?), one pencil, one rubber eraser, one Sharpie, and my awesome Jetstream. There’s also a regular ballpoint pen; if someone needs to borrow a pen and I don’t like them, they’ll probably get that pen.

And that’s what I carry everyday, stationery-wise! Let me know what you carry!
