Over the past couple of years, I went from “sometimes putting eyeliner and lipstick on” to learning how to take care of your skin and how to do that with makeup. I just wanted to share the love for all things beauty and skin-care related. Let me know what you think!
Today, if you weren’t paying attention, I want to talk about cruelty-free and vegan products! I’ve always cared about animals so when I went vegetarian in college, it was for the animals. Yes, I was one of those girls. But just because I eat meat again, doesn’t mean I stopped caring.
The new “trend” now is to go cruelty-free and/or vegan in your makeup and beauty routine. I have to admit I might try this in the near future because I found out a lot of my favourite brands are cruelty-free. I found Cruelty Free Kitty, which offers a whole list of makeup, skin care, beauty, and nail care brands that are cruelty free, vegan, or both. I don’t know if this is a full list or even a true list, but judging from her Instagram, she does a lot of research, and if it is, I use a lot of brands that are on here already and that makes me pretty happy:
